He delved upon the need for a different expression in different countries
because of the diversity in the way of representation of objects in different
countries. Dr Tanya, with her very innovative thought made the students realise
that we in general, never realise how far technology can go in making life
comfortable for the Specially Abled Students. Her idea that hope is what
sustains and drives research underlined the very essence of our existence.
Dr Simerpreet, Assistant Professor of
Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, ThaparUniversity, with
her innovative approach, outlined the fact that all human beings are unique in
themselves; their intellect, their motor ability and their capability to use
technology adds to the uniqueness over all other species. She helped the
students to enhance their self esteem and made them understand that it is
important to acknowledge their successes more than their failures. With her
interactive approach, she demonstrated that there is a wide gap between the
real and the ideal self of an individual, the conditions of self worth keep
changing and it is on us to beat the world with our skills and potential.
